water crystal dr emotoThere is a wonderful book written by Dr Emoto entitled ‘Water Crystal Healing’. Here is a tip to meditate using the classical music that comes with the book.

Select the music with the desired outcome. The book explains the effect of each piece of music and how it will affect our vibration or energy.

Fill a wine glass with water and place it near but not touching your speakers. When you play the music, look at the corresponding crystal picture and focus on it until the musical piece concludes. Next drink the glass of water. The water should form the same crystal as the music, although we cannot see it.

Try it and feel the difference!

How’s that for using music to meditate.

5 Tips For Beginners

If you are a beginner, here are simple secrets to master meditation:
- Write down 200 reasons why you want to learn meditation. This will cause your subconscious mind to link meditation to pleasure.
-Join a group or class. The mass energy of many people meditating will somehow transfer to you. In fact, because of such classes, I am able to meditate for two hours at one stretch.
-Take baby steps. Think big or dream big to set the direction and then take baby steps to execute your dream. Begin with one minute or 5 minute meditation for the first few days.
-Embrace or expect that for the first few days or weeks, your mind will wander about with other thoughts during meditation. This is acceptable, embrace it…just remember that you have learnt to walk before and that you fall many times before you can walk.Recall the smiles of your parents when you can walk the first time!
-Use music! this is the most effective method for me and I use variations or many different music till this day. Classical or soft music or guided meditation are all excellent.

Yoni Mudra

July 5, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

yoni mudraYoni Mudra is an exercise of the withdrawal of the senses, included in Pratyahara.

All day long, people are barraged persistently with worries at home and at work. Your senses respond to all stimuli, with your brain simultaneously straining itself by ignoring all insignificant stimulus-responses. By being able to control the senses, only then can you concentrate and act on your duties more efficiently.

These are the steps in doing the Yoni Mudra technique:

Close your ears with your thumbs.

Use your index fingers to cover your eyes.

Then, use your middle fingers to pinch the nostrils.

Press your lips together with your remaining fingers.

While meditating, release your middle fingers as you inhale and exhale.

Concentration is the key for you to do this successfully and a better concentration is what you’ll achieve if you practice this. Remember that Meditation helps you relax and maintain mental clarity. Just do what Yogis do – find a comfortable place, do the Yoni Mudra technique, and you’re off for a better day with a rejuvenated mind.
